Street lights

One of my favourite photo of all time – this is a shoot-and-hope photo which turned out better than we expected. This was taken with the Lomo Fish Eye, placed on the car’s dashboard, somewhere along Orchard Road.

NDP 2008 Fireworks

Fireworks lit up the night sky as the National Day Parade came to a close.

Human wayang kulit

Wayang Kulit, or shadow puppet theatre is designated by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity … a mouthful. Here’s our life-size version of it done during the 2008 National Day Parade.

Black Knight doing the Palm Split

A black and white shot of our Black Knights going through the Palm Split manoeuvre at the 2008 National Day Parade.

Garlic Naan @ Bar Bar Black Sheep

I love food. I love photography. Put them together – food p0rn. This is a basket full of yummy garlic naan taken at Bar Bar Black Sheep.

Mirror Pass

Here’s the famous Mirror Pass where the two F16s fly almost on top of each other like a mirror image of each other.

Black Knights up!

I love going to air shows. This was in 2008 at the Changi Exhibition Centre. Here we have our very own Black Knights doing the Curtains manoeuvre

Smile for the camera

Students from the Bukit Timah Primary School band making funny faces in front of the cameras while waiting for the arrival of the President during the Istana Open House

Catch me if you can

Happen to catch this at our maiden trip to the Istana when its gate opened for the Hari Raya Puasa holiday.

Electrico’s Desmond Goh

Photographed Electrico’s Desmond Goh at Sony Ericsson’s Traffic Jam performance at the Padang in 2007.

NDP 2007 – Red and Gold

Well worth the wait to catch the fireworks. The foreground you can see the silhouette of the Customs House.

NDP 2007 – Fireworks

I was once told that the first burst of firework is always the best as the next firework might be covered by smoke. I can’t agree more.

NDP 2007 – Night jump

First ever night sky diving performed at the National Day Parade. You can vaguely see the path taken by the sky diver as he drops towards the Floating Platform.

NDP 2007 – Bomb burst

The RSAF Black Knights performing a bomb burst over the Marina Bay in their F16s. Always the crowd favourites.

NDP 2007 – Happy

This happy couple, like us, was waiting at The Promontory @ Marina Bay to catch the NDP 2007 Fireworks. They came prepared with flags, snacks and happy spirit.

NDP 2007 – one more text
